Grand Junction

Six performances in nine days. It is now time for the post performance depression to set in. The reason being, that it is never just about the performances, but also about the preparation leading up to them. After the audience leaves, and there is already an e-ticket waiting for you, the intense realization occurs that it is over.

What keeps me going is that the performances, although seemingly gone, still become part of me, and continue on through the next performance. Having spent close to ten days as part of Grand Junction, I must say, that it is a place of beauty. I played concerts at local schools along with Talking Rhythms percussion ensemble, sat in on two jazz events, gave some master classes, and performed an amazing percussion concerto, with a really great orchestra.

Thank you, Grand Junction, for letting me share music with you.
